5th Annual Petaluma's Salute to American Graffiti
May 13, 14 & 15, 2010

Salute 2010 ….AWESOME!!

Saturday morning overcast gave way to a beautiful, sunny Sonoma County day as 400 American classic cars, trucks and hot rods from all over the United States thundered into downtown Petaluma for the 5th Annual American Graffiti Salute.

The celebration, which is held on the same streets where the movie was filmed in 1972 included live bands, singing, dancing, XERB live radio, food and merchandise vendors, hub cap art and so much more! It kept the estimated crowd of 20,000 busy all day. At times the streets were so crowded that you couldn’t even see the pavement and when it came time for the cruise at 4pm, people were having so much fun no one wanted to start cruising. Finally around 4:45pm cars began cranking up their engines and moving out for a ride down the Boulevard.

Thank you to everyone who participated, watched, sponsored, volunteered, contributed, and donated to our 5th Annual Petaluma’s Salute to American Graffiti! You helped make it the marvelous celebration that it was! Happy Trails! See you in 2011.
