Salute 2008, dedicated to Manual Padilla, Jr., celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the film’s release in 1973. The feature event was the re-creation of the cop car destruction scene that took place on May 15 in the location where it was originally filmed by George Lucas. For our tee-shirt, program cover and poster, we reproduced a watercolor of the cop car destruction that painted by Petaluma artist Lisa Deniz. Men’s cut, 100% black cotton pre-shrunk heavyweight, it includes the event name, date and all of our top level sponsors on the backside.
