2009 proved to be a real challenge economically, however thanks to many of our local sponsors along with expense cutbacks made by our Board of Directors, we’re pleased to report that Salute 2009 raised over $12,000 that we are reinvesting into the Petaluma community including:

Petaluma Save-A-Life Project:
$9,000: A $3,000 grant to Petaluma, Casa Grande and St. Vincent de Paul High Schools for their 2009-2010 Project Graduation.

Financial grants to: San Antonio Volunteer Fire Department; Petaluma Riding and Driving Club; Petaluma High School Wildlife & Natural Science Museum; Chief Petty Officer’s Association, USCG TRACEN Petaluma.

Henry Travers’ Memorial Scholarship Fund
$4,000 in financial scholarships, raised at Salute 2008, was awarded to six graduating Petaluma area high school seniors to help further their education in the fields of automotive repair/mechanics, the performing arts or the motion picture industry.
