PETALUMA’S 7th ANNUAL SALUTE TO AMERICAN GRAFFITI, SATURDAY, MAY 19, 2012, 9am to 9pm is a community celebration of 1950s and early 1960s Americana and a tribute to George Lucas’ timeless, coming-of-age film, American Graffiti.
Because we do not allow vendor sales of alcoholic beverages, this celebration is particularly attractive to families including many with young children. From kids to grandparents, the crowd is well-behaved and here to enjoy all of the cool cars, nostalgia, entertainment, shopping and one another.
We expect over 30,000 people to attend Salute 2012, which will feature 350 classic 1972 and older American-made vehicles, live bands, cars that were featured in the film, food and merchandise vendors and exhibitors, American Graffiti memorabilia and collectables, contests, children’s attractions, and much more!
