Scholarships are awarded to Petaluma area high schools’ graduating seniors and students continuing in these studies who are pursuing a career in automotive technology/repair/mechanics/engineering, performing arts, videography, film and media industry, computer sciences, and health & safety. The maximum number a person can be awarded this scholarship is two (2) times.
Automotive: Includes anything related to the automotive field, from auto magazine writing to actual automotive repair/mechanics/technology and automotive design and engineering.
Performing Arts, Movie, TV or Radio, Video Industries: This includes anything related to the movie industry, acting, producing, sound production, filming, radio, videography, music, etc.
Computer Sciences: Includes anything related to the computer science industry, computer support, network technician, web development, computer software engineer, graphic artist, information systems administrator, 3D animation, etc.
Health and Safety: We are proud to offer this scholarship to those who wish to pursue careers in Law Enforcement, Firefighting, First Aide, First Responders and any medical related field of study.
Trade Schools and Vocational Programs: This includes anyone going to school to work with their hands like an Electrician, Plumber ,Carpenter, Mason, Roofer Ect.
Each year Crusin the Boulevard awards scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools in the city of Petaluma and Petaluma schools alumni continuing their studies in pursuit of a career in automotive technology/repair/mechanics/engineering, performing arts, videography, film and media industry, computer sciences, and health & safety.
The scholarship program is intended to provide help with educational expenses such as college tuition, room and board, campus fees, and more. With the assistance from Petaluma teachers and school counselors the CTB board of directors are able to identify and award one or more students financial aid to assist them in reaching their career goals.
This scholarship program is more than financial aid, recipients are getting recognition for academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and community service, which in turn fosters a sense of accomplishment and furthers motivation. A CTB scholarship is something that a student could put on their resume. And every year, talented and driven high school students dream of pursuing careers in automotive repair, performing arts, film, health & safety, and computer science continuing to be made possible by the generous donations from the community and sponsors.
The CTB special program is the focused on the local community. Donations to the scholarship program provide financial aid to local deserving students. The scholarships support their growth, in addition to creating life-changing opportunities for young talent.
